I have less than a month left of high school and I couldn’t be more anxious. The fear of the unknown, the drive to succeed, and the need to find my purpose are terrifying to think about, but it\u2019s something that needed to happen. High school has caused all of these things to come down on top of me, but I would never trade it. I wouldn\u2019t trade it because I know good things have come out of it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This school has changed me in ways that cannot be taken for granted. My thought process and social ability have completely changed from my freshman year. I think I have become slightly more cynical, but it\u2019s also caused me to enjoy life more. Life isn\u2019t all about studying for that next test. It\u2019s about making decisions and being confident in those decisions. Owensboro High School was taught me that whether you make a wrong or bad choice, you made the choice. No one else. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
OHS also gave me the greatest friends I could ever ask for. Before I came to this school, I was with a group of people that now, I don\u2019t even see anymore. These people, even though sometimes they frustrate me, will always be people I care for. I know I frustrate them too, but I want them to know at the end of the day I\u2019d be there for them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Leaving OHS will be one of the hardest moments of my life, but I know it\u2019s a stepping stone to something greater. To the laughs, the anger, and the boring classroom moments, I will always be grateful to you for shaping me into someone better. Even if I can\u2019t see it now.
