They finished as 3rd Region Runner-up yesterday after after a tough battle with Owensboro Catholic (37-46). This was the first time the Lady Devils reached the Region Finals since 2007. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Lady Devils ended the season with a 21-11 record (13-5 in the region, 6-3 in the district), their highest win total in at least 25 years. Junior guard A&#8217;Lyrica Hughes scored the most points for OHS this season, averaging 14.3 points per game. Hughes also pulled in the most rebounds with 6.9 per game. Freshman guard Unique Carter-Swanagan was the second leading scorer, averaging 8.5 points per game, while only playing 17 games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This group of ladies has really turned around the girls basketball program this season.
