Over her four years as an OHS Red Devil, she has had several experiences, each year was something different for Cannon, but something that always stayed the same was her love for her cross country team.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy coaches at OHS have helped me grow so much throughout my high school athletic career.\u201d Cannon cites that her coaches all thought her discipline, self-control and the ability to pursue her dream.<\/p>\n<p>The fondest memory of Cannon\u2019s at OHS is the friends she\u2019s made and the races she\u2019s had. Her cross country season was different than expected for Cannon. \u201cWe underwent many trials,\u201d Cannon says. But through the season she was able to lean on her teammates for more than just strength but also encouragement.<\/p>\n<p>Cannon\u2019s favorite aspect of OHS is the atmosphere of the school. \u201cThere are so many different kinds of people and so many different walks of life, but we all respect each other and care for each other because \u201cWe are\u2026 Owensboro!\u201d\u201d Cannon said.<\/p>\n<p>Before Cannon turns the tassel on OHS, she has a state track meet.
