Everyone who knows Austin Sovar knows that he is a talented kid in both the classroom and the soccer field. With full scholarship offers for academics from Western Kentucky University and The University of Kentucky at fourteen years old, the kid was already on his way to success. Most people might not know that he is also a talented artist. Whether it be painting or music, he excels at both.<\/p>\n
The talent that has taken center stage lately is his art. \u201cI\u2019ve always been pretty interested in art, but mostly with sketches. Then my parents bought me a painting set for Christmas.\u201d Austin says he never really expected his paintings to be anything than a hobby. His first paintings were just for his family as a gift to his parents, but then they evolved to anything that he felt like painting. Then his neighbor, offered to pay him to paint four paintings. The reason he paints is because he finds enjoyment in it. Sovar stated, \u201cI don\u2019t know, I\u2019ve done a lot of black and white paintings\u201d, but he has done different variations. He is still finding his style and changing it as he goes. Austin says he doesn\u2019t really see his paintings going anywhere beyond the homes of his friends and family.<\/p>\n
