Projected to be a top 20 draft pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, he was<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 8th in the league in rebounds and was the second leading scorer on the Bulldogs roster last year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I got the inside scoop with Aric on some topics about the path he is on right now and how he got there.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u201cThe game is different at the college level because it\u2019s way faster and guys have to play roles instead of just playing free.\u201d Aric said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Holman was good enough his junior year at MSU to declare himself for the 2018 NBA Draft. He says he did this more with intentions to get a view at the league and to gather information about where his game is now and to evaluate what he needs to be doing to play at the next level. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;It was more just conversations with guys (scouts), seeing what they were thinking,&#8221; Holman said to the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Messenger Inquirer<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in early September. \u201cI wouldn\u2019t care what team I get drafted to, I would be thankful for the opportunity.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cPlaying for Coach Drake helped me a lot because he helped me deal with adversity and he also showed me how to work hard and become a leader.\u201d Aric said. The 2018-19 season starts early November.
