Having a way of transportation is a key thing for high school students. Whether it be car, bus, or even using your own two feet.. it’s all efficient.  However, for some students have a sense of pride behind having their own ride. In fact, there are three students here at OHS that believe they have the best wheels in the city.

Senior Nick Givishville claims that his 2009 Infiniti G37 is not only the fastest car but the most luxurious as well. He IMG_1234says, “My Infiniti has a 3.7L V8, getting near 335hp! Who else has that much power?” Along with the unbelievable power underneath the hood, this Infiniti also has a classy exterior design that makes it a real eye-catcher. It’s a four door but that only adds to the sleek look. Inside you’ll notice the display screen on the front dash installed with an AUX import, AM/FM options, and a CD/DVD player. That leads down to the middle console where the automatic gear shifter and seat warming controls are easily accessible. And to top it all off Nick’s Infiniti has tan leather seats that give it that luxurious touch.

Those aren’t the only wheels we have in our parking lot though. Junior Makayla Hayden believes that her 2010 Dodge Charger (featured image) is the real head turner here at OHS. Her Dodge is equipped with a 3.5L V6 ranging between 250 and 300hp. It’s a four-door as well but that only makes this beast look more like the muscle car it is. On the front dash, you have a navigation system along with the standard factory stereo. The stereo isn’t equipped with Bluetooth but there is an AUX import so you can still listen to all your favorite songs. The interior of this Charger is all black, including the leather seats. That really gives this car a spacious feeling, which adds to the comfort of this vehicle. It’s easy to say Makayla’s Dodge shouldn’t be overlooked on this one.

The final student, Bobby Garner, says he has both Nick and Makayla beat with his 2011 Mustang. This tIMG_1237wo door convertible can get up and go with the fastest of cars in Owensboro. That’s  no surprise, considering it has a roaring 3.7L V6 underneath the hood. The stereo on the front dash has the standard AUX import and AM/FM options. Bobby’s Mustang has tan leather seats that look rather good when the convertible top is down and the sun is out. This car is different from the first two four doors, no doubt but who’s to say which is better? What’s your favorite car out there?
