The days of life as I know it are coming to a close. Graduation will be the culmination of my career as a Red Devil. This is a bittersweet season full of goodbyes as well as new beginnings. While it is sad to see my high school years end, I am certain that Owensboro High School has prepared me for my next steps in life.
The teachers and staff at OHS have provided me with knowledge and guidance that have made me a better individual. Whether it’s a rigorous AP class, a Thursday morning FCA meeting, or Friday night lights, I always feel supported and loved. There is nothing quite like the friends I have made while being a devil. We have truly grown up together, and they have molded me to become who I am today.
My high school experience would not have been near as enriching if it hadn’t been for my four years spent on the cheer team. I will forever miss my team and cheering at those big district games. My cheer team has been a second family for me, and for that I am forever grateful.
While I only have 28 days left to be a high school student, I know I will forever be a Red Devil. Once a Devil always a Devil!
