OHS Girls Basketball Preview

The Owensboro High School Girls Basketball team looks to have a massive 2022-2023 season after kicking off the year with a 5-1 record over the first two weeks of play!

The Lady Red Devils return their entire roster from a year ago, while also adding a couple of new players. A’Lyrica Hughes (15.1 PPG, 8.6 RPG), the reigning district player of the year, leads an experienced roster of Lady Devils featuring five seniors (Lindsey Gibson, Melia Moorman, CJ Paige, K’Asia Palmer, Chandler Worth). They look to improve on their 13-16 performance last season.

With their up-tempo style of play, looking to get up and down and be quick in transition, the Lady Red Devils will be putting on a show every night they take the court. They are looking to do big things this season, so be sure to come out and support this year’s squad.
