The OHS Academic Team is overall Regional Champs for the first time since the very first year of KAAC Governor’s Cup in 1986! For the second year in a row and only the 4th time ever (1993, 1999, 2022, 2023), the Quick Recall team advanced to State. Moreover, of those 4 times, 3 of them were as Regional runners-up, which means that this is the first year EVER that the Owensboro Quick Recall team advances to State as the Regional Champions!

“Thank you to all the teachers, admin, parents, and fans who have supported us this year. We are super proud of this team and all they have accomplished already. Their hard work and dedication have paid off, and we look forward to an excellent showing at State next month. We still have more to come!” – Coach Pryor
