Super Bowl LVIII Preview: The Matchup I Didn’t Want Edition

I am not gonna lie, I don’t like either of the teams that ended up in the Super Bowl this year. But I am still going to watch it anyway because I love football. Plus there are a lot of other reasons to watch the Super Bowl and still enjoy the time. Don’t worry, I am still going to predict the game and score, but stick around for some bonus info after the prediction.
Super Bowl LVIII
Kansas City Chiefs vs. San Francisco 49ers
Sunday, February 11 @ 5:30 PM on CBS
The 49ers went into the playoffs as the #1 seed in the NFC and made their home field advantage count, as they are now in the Super Bowl. The Chiefs on the other hand went into the playoffs as the #3 seed in the AFC, and had to grind to get to the big game, only having had one home playoff game. All that to say, I would much rather see the 49ers win over the Chiefs because I hate seeing the Chiefs win. It’s getting old at this point. But this is an unbiased prediction and not just what I want to happen. So I think the Chiefs will be the winner of Super Bowl LVIII. Yes, their momentum will carry them to another Lombardi Trophy. Their defense is playing at an elite level, Travis Kelce has the magic of Taylor Swift on his side, and Patrick Mahomes will add another Super Bowl MVP Trophy to his mantle. 38-35 Chiefs
Now, the other reasons to watch the Super Bowl…
Food & Friends
Like I said, there are plenty of other ways for people to enjoy the Super Bowl outside of watching the football. The first being, you can eat tons and tons of great food. Who doesn’t love amazing food? Wings, pizza, chips, dips. Give me it all. You also get to hangout with all your friends. What better reason to get together than food and football??
Commercials
Super Bowl commercials are elite. Some people watch the Super Bowl just for the commercials. Just think of some of the all-time greats–“PuppyMonkeyBaby”, “Dilly Dilly”, Apple’s “1984”, those talking E-Trade babies. This year, 30-seconds of Super Bowl airtime is costing companies $7 million, so you know some them are going to bring it.
Usher
And lastly, Usher is performing the halftime show, in Vegas. So, YEAH!!!
