Fall break is the perfect opportunity to take a break from academic and extracurricular activities and binge a series, or two if you’re really dedicated. Netflix is filled with binge-worthy tv shows, so many that navigating through them all can be tedious. Lucky for you, I have composed a list of tv shows that you won’t be able to turn off.

Gilmore Girls

Gilmore Girls follows the life of mother and daughter, Lorelai and Rory Gilmore. Lorelai became pregnant with Rory at sixteen, which in her higher class environment was an ultimate disappointment. Lorelai then moves away, and establishes a home for herself and Rory in a small town that is impossible not to love. Lorelai and Rory establish a home for themselves in a small town that has residents that you will instantly fall in love with. The development of Lorelai and Rory is definitely worth watching. Sophomore, Avery Elliott is one of the many people who fell in love with Stars Hollow and their community, “I have rewatched Gilmore Girls more times than I can count.”

The Good Place

The Good Place is the lighthearted tv show that everyone needs. The show follows Eleanor Shellstrop who was an absolute trainwreck, and overall cruel person while living. Eleanor passes, and believes she is now residing in “The Good Place,” an afterlife place created for the most noble people. The show then navigates through her journey of being placed in the Good Place with additional characters that are impossible to stop laughing at. “The first season of The Good Place is so hilarious, I am excited to see the fate of the group,” said senior, Angela Prather.

How To Get Away with Murder

If the title of the show does not automatically intrigue you, the lives of the prominent law school students definitely will. How to Get Away with Murder follows six law students as they work with their mysterious and complex professor, Annalise Keating. The shows is perfect for binging due to the several cliffhangers, and well-developed plot. “How To Get Away with Murder made me want to become a lawyer because of how interesting they make law seem,” said sophomore, Brynna Raffety.

    The 100

Have you ever wondered what the world would be like hundreds of years from now? The 100 explores Earth after a nuclear bomb wiped out majority of society. One hundred kids in jail in space were sent down to Earth by themselves to find out if the world was inhabitable. Soon after they land they find out that they are not the only community there. The one-hundred navigate how to survive while still dealing with typical teenage issues such as relationships, friendships, and social standing. “I binge watched the first season of the 100 in a week because the show was that good,” said sophomore, Maysn Hughes.
