Point Guard Darrion Wimsatt(12) commented on the game: “I think we played a solid game. We had some ups and downs throughout the game. We went on a huge run in the second quarter and then let them come back in the game late in the third quarter, so we just have to learn to put teams away when the opportunity is given. I think I played well, not the best I could have played, but I stepped up late in the fourth when my team needed me the most.”

Senior Darrion Wimsatt led Owensboro with 24 points, coming from 8 two-pointers, 2 three-pointers, and 2 free throws. Also, sophomore Amari Robinson-Wales finished with 12 points. Junior Jaiden Greathouse led the team in rebounds with a total of 10.
