The Owensboro Red Devils finished 2-1 for week number two in April. The Devils battled Franklin-Simpson, Daviess County, and Bowling Green.

Monday, April 8th, vs. Franklin-Simpson (5-4 W)

The Devils beat the Franklin-Simpson Wildcats 5-4. A late surge in the 6th inning propelled the Devils over the Wildcats. Stats N/A

Friday, April 12th, at Daviess County (15-0 W)

This was a statement win for the Red Devils. Louisville Baseball commit Isaac Humphrey pitched a perfect game against the district rival. Junior Braxton French went 1-1 with a Grand Slam. He finished with 4 RBIs and 2 walks. Not only did he pitch a perfect game, Junior Isaac Humphrey finished 1-2 with 5 RBIs. Juniors Tucker Hagan, Nick Belcher, Trace Grenier, and Senior Eric Epperson each added two hits. The Devils combined for 12 hits.

Saturday, April 13th, at Bowling Green (7-2 L)

After beating Bowling Green at home, the Devils traveled to BG and lost 7-2. Junior Isaac Humphrey had two hits, and Senior Eric Epperson had a hit.

This next week, the Devils play Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Monday, the Devils battle Henderson Co. Tuesday, the Devils play district opponent Apollo. Wednesday, the Devils battle Breckinridge County. Friday, the Devils play Castle. Lastly, Saturday, the Devils go to Franklin-Simpson to battle the Wildcats.
